He is the author of many books including, An Open Life: Joseph Campbell in Conversation with Michael Toms, which has sold more than two hundred thousand copies, and seventeen additional books based on his interviews, including The Well of Creativity, The Soul of Business, The Power of Meditation and Prayer, Buddhism in the West, At the Leading Edge, and A Time for Choices: Deep Dialogues for Deep Democracy. He is co-author with his partner, Justine Willis Toms, of True Work: Doing What You Love and Loving What You Do.
