Program Description
We all possess the archetypes necessary for the hero’s journey. Though one or two may be predominant in our lives, we can call forth and awaken these inner guides as needed on our quest. In this provocative interview, Carol Pearson reveals how these archetypes can aid our experience of soul initiation. Her message is one of gentleness and recreating daily life as an art form. “What we often experience as our personal problems are not just our personal problems,” she says. “They are the way that we are experiencing our piece of what is essentially a worldwide change that’s happening.”
She is the author of The Hero Within: Six Archetypes We Live By (Harper & Row 1986) and Awakening the Heroes Within: Twelve Archetypes to Help Us Find Ourselves and Transform Our World (HarperSanFrancisco 1991).
