Program Description

One of the most respected and knowledgeable investigators of UFOs and alien encounters, Vallee provides a larger mythic and historical context from which to consider these strange phenomena. He talks about the evidence of UFOs throughout history, and why they are so challenging to science. He also points out the connection between cross-cultural initiatory rituals and alien abduction accounts, as well as the parallels to spiritual visions and experience. He is the author of Dimensions: A Casebook of Alien Contact (Contemporary Books 1988) and Challenge to Science (Ballantine 1974).
