Program Description
Where do we go when we die? Is it possible to prove that life continues after death? In this compelling dialogue, the rational realm of science meets the mysterious world of spirit. Former Yale professor and Harvard-trained scientist Gary Schwartz tells the story of his journey from scientific skepticism to the wonder and awe evoked by his exploration of life after death. Through rigorously controlled laboratory experiments, and careful study of mediumship, he provides unprecedented breakthrough evidence of not only life after death, but also the communication with departed souls. He challenges us to stretch beyond our limited perspectives and beliefs, and to see life and death in a new way. “People ask me what I believe. It’s not important what I believe. What is important is what I know as a scientist, and what I know is that these experiments are real. These data are real. There is no question about that.”
Gary Schwartz, Ph.D. is a professor of psychology, medicine, neurology, psychiatry, and surgery at the University of Arizona and Director of its Human Energy Systems laboratory. He has published more than 300 scientific papers, is the co-author with Linda G.S. Russek of The Living Energy Universe (Hampton Roads 2006), and is co-author with William Simon of The Afterlife Experiments: Breakthrough Scientific Evidence of Life After Death (Atria 2003), The G.O.D. Experiments: How Science is Discovering God in Everything, Including Us (Atria 2007), and The Energy Healing Experiments: Science Reveals Our Natural Power to Heal (Atria 2008).
