Program Description: What is the cosmos made of at its most fundamental level? Where does consciousness exist in the physical world? How does it fit into our understanding of evolution? Ervin Laszlo, Ph.D. was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004 and 2005, and received the 2001 Goi award, also known as the Japan Peace Prize, and the 2005 Mandir of Peace Prize. He is a former professor of philosophy, systems theory, and future studies, and is founding president of the international think tank, the Club of Budapest. Dr. Laszlo is the author of more than seventy books, including The Chaos Point: The World at the Crossroads (Hampton Roads 2006), Science and the Reenchantment of the Cosmos (Inner Traditions 2006), Science and the Akashic Field: An Integral Theory of Everything (Inner Traditions 2007), and Worldshift 2012: Making Green Business, New Politics, and Higher Consciousness Work Together (Inner Traditions 2009).
